I think charisma is too narrowly defined

People see it as the suit and tie, slick back, calm steady voice, the buttery sounding phrases, the warm smile, good looking

No. Real charisma kind of disguises itself. The mad genius is charismatic. The guy who stutters a lot but you sense there is real heart there - that’s charisma. The super humble soft spoken - that’s charisma. The non stop questions, tireless curiosity - that’s charisma.

Charisma is just persuasion, being in control of the ideas that get transmitted. Charisma is about having power over communication, and it comes in all sizes and shapes

If you could see charisma, you’d label it that, and see right through it. It’s the same as the salesman who is a little too cunning, you feel like you’re being sold
