Making something public forces me to standardize it. Before this website I had disparate notes files but there were no rules around what went on it and what length they were etc. so the set of notes weren’t useful. they needed filtering I didn’t do. But now this has rules because it has to take more form more structure. So now it’s a real corpus of my ideas that I can draw from. With the added benefit that I can contribute to the open source knowledge project of the world.
